At Mercato, we have deep roots in food craftsmanship. Our CEO Bobby Brannigan grew up in his father's butcher shop in Brooklyn where he learned firsthand the complex logistics of running a grocery store. After starting and selling an $85M tech company in his college dorm room, Bobby returned to his roots and saw the need to modernize his father’s inventory and delivery systems to better serve customers.
Mercato was built with all the small details in mind to help local grocers sell more online, offer delivery, and showcase their diverse offerings. To ensure the highest quality experience, every order is handpicked directly from the store (not third-party drivers!).
